Emily (Em) Whittle (she/her) is the face behind the reviews of Album Vibe Check. Em is a queer woman who has always loved music, and listens to a wide range of genres. She played piano for over 7 years, has taken multiple music theory classes, and is currently in a competitive A Cappella group on campus called The Salt Flats. In addition, Em is a communications major and a gender studies minor at the University of Utah, and is passionate about writing. Because of all of this, Em has a unique perspective on music and enjoys writing reviews of new and innovative albums. She’s been writing these reviews on her Instagram stories for years, but wanted a more concentrated platform for them. Thus, Album Vibe Check was born!
